Photo Scavenger hunts are so much fun! I am tired of winter and being cold so I created a Spring Photo Scavenger Hunt for us all to enjoy.
My kids enjoy taking a list and checking off the photos. When they have finish we put the SD card into the TV and view the photos on the big screen.

I like that photo scavenger hunts can be a really creative outlet. Photography is a skill and hobby a child can enjoy their whole life. People of all ages can participate and have fun finding the items on the list.

Other ways to enjoy a photo scavenger hunt:
-Give each child a list and a camera and make it a competition.
-Try drawing/painting some of the items on the list and then taking a picture.
-Look through a magazine and see if you can find all the items on the list.
-Be as creative as you like. Maybe you won’t find an actual baby animal to take a picture of. Look around you might find a baby animal in a book or on a greeting card.
-Send the list to a friend and share your photos when you are both done.
-If you get an awesome photo blow it up and enter it into a county fair.
-Use your child’s photos to make a set of greeting cards to give to their Grandparents for the next birthday or Christmas.
This is very Northern Hemisphere centric. In the Southern Hemisphere spring is from 1st September to the end of November. It has nothing to do with Easter. And Leprechauns and galoshes are not a thing down under!
Thanks for the feedback. It is true that the post is Northern Hemisphere centric as that is where I live. I am unfamiliar with customs and traditions from the Southern Hemisphere. I would love to hear more about what spring is like in your part of the world.

This is a great idea. Seeing things through the eye of a child is an awesome feeling.
